If you are a Single Dude starting to feel the pressure of spending Valentine’s Day by yourself, think again. Despite what the mainstream may be telling you, it absolutely rocks to be a Single Guy on Valentine’s Day. In this article I’ll show you my top 3 reasons why you are the one at a huge advantage being a single guy on Valentine’s Day.
1-You don’t have to buy anything!
I have never been a fan of trying to buy things for women to try and impress them, or even worse, to make them feel obligated to sleep with me. Equal rights and feminism is all the rage nowadays and the old school ways of pampering and courting women are becoming more and more a thing of the past. Except on Valentine’s Day.
Guys who are locked down are dropping serious keesh trying to impress their girlfriends to no avail with over-priced dinners, fancy jewelry, pointless flowers, and possibly even makeshift poetry. Let’s face it, Valentine’s Day was created to do one thing and one thing only. Get guys to spend money on women. The fact that you are single excludes you from that category and can save you a few hundred bucks if not more. At the same time, you now have a huge advantage meeting single women.
2-Girls are extra willing to meet guys before the big day
I would say there are two events where a woman is chomping at the bit to meet a guy. The first is when a woman catches the bouquet at a wedding (look out!). The second event, and even more powerful, is when she fears being alone on Valentine’s Day. The last couple weeks leading up to, and the actual Valentine’s Day are a Single Guy’s paradise. Other Single Women will be vacating every Yoga Studio, Shopping Mall, Nail Salon, Starbucks, Ugg Store, Squad Goal, and Organic Smoothie shop to make themselves available to land a date on Valentine’s Day.
Knowing this I believe there are two solid options for you to meet women at this time. The first is Tinder. If you don’t already know, Tinder is the most popular mobile dating app where you swipe left on girls you don’t like, and right on the one’s you do. If the girl swipes right on you as well, then the two of you match and a chat is started. In the few weeks before Valentine’s day I would download Tinder (if you don’t already have it) and change your tagline to something like “Who else doesn’t have plans on Valentines Day?” Or even better, “Who else thinks it’s cooler to be single on Valentine’s Day?” With those messages some girls will even message you first after you match with them. After some chit chat you can make plans with them if you want to do a date on Valentine’s Day, or if you want an even better option…
3-Bars are a singles playground on Valentine’s Day Weekend
We are super lucky this year that Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday. This gives you Friday AND Saturday to meet hoards of hot, thirsty, single women who are desperately trying to avoid spending Sunday Night at home with their cat. Even if they hate the bar scene, single women will most definitely be there in top form on Valentine’s Day weekend in hopes of landing a date for the big day. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to help them achieve that goal. All you have to do is clean up, show up, and introduce yourself to as many women that you are interested in.
Approaching women effectively can be accomplished simply by walking up to them with good posture, a smile, and a handshake introduction. Is there more to it than that? Sure, I’ve spent the last 9 years teaching men how to approach and attract girls step by step, but you don’t necessarily need to be fancy, you just need to put yourself out there. Especially on Valentine’s Day. The best part about going to bars on Valentine’s weekend is that not only are there going to be much more single women than usual, but the women there will be more receptive as well when it comes to meeting a new guy. I can’t recommend hitting bars that weekend highly enough.
The world is really your oyster as a Single Guy approaching Valentine’s Day. Take advantage of this and go meet some awesome girls. Thank me later.
