There is one thing out there for guys that is an absolute win-win, and it is gaining muscle. Once you understand how to do it, you can maintain a pretty awesome physique with a few hours of work a week and some disciplined eating. Building muscle does not need to be rocket science. Keep it simple!!
Start Weight Training
Get started on a weight training program ASAP. I’m not talking about at home workouts, yoga, pilates, or cardio. You need to lift challenging weights. Join a gym and invest in yourself. If you have absolutely no clue where to start hire a trainer for a while. Your trainer’s knowledge will take years off of your learning curve and really expedite your results.
Start Eating Right
I truly believe that your body composition is 80%, if not more, what you are eating. Do you ever wonder why over 60% of today’s population is overweight? Fast food, sugar, bread, fried crap, soda, and the list goes on and on. Not only that but these things are cheap and easily accessed!!! Vegetables are more work to prepare as well as a nice piece of fish. However you are what you eat. If you have followed my first step and are now weight training, you would seriously be missing out by not combining it with a clean diet composed of complex carbohydrates, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Depending on your goals and natural body composition, you will want to tailor your diet to your personal needs. Don’t just follow a cookie cutter program.
I believe every person man or woman should be eating healthy and weight training. It is proven to prevent disease, aging, and make you look damn good without question.
